Plainville is a small town in Norfolk County with a population of 9,230 as of 2018 (Data source: U.S. Census Bureau / Data Commons). It sits near the Rhode Island border, bordered by North Attleborough, Wrentham, and Foxborough. That location matters.
Smaller towns like Plainville often have fewer local behavioral health options, which means residents either go without care or drive to find it. We make that drive simple, with a direct route up Route 1 and 495 to our Framingham office. Plainville's climate follows the same southeastern Massachusetts pattern: cold winters, humid summers, and long stretches of grey weather in between.
Seasonal depression is real here, and isolation in a small town can make it worse. The community has a mix of longtime families, commuters who work in Providence or Boston, and a growing younger population. Many people here work hard and keep their struggles private.
We built our programs with that kind of person in mind.
