Most mental health clinics say they're welcoming. We built our program around what LGBTQ+ adults in Framingham Massachusetts and surrounding cities actually deal with: family rejection, workplace discrimination, internalized shame, and the weight of navigating a world that doesn't always make space for you. Our clinicians don't just tolerate that reality. They work with it directly in treatment. Every therapist here has specific training in gender identity, sexual orientation, and minority stress. You won't spend half your session educating your provider on the basics. That time belongs to you and your recovery.
We also treat the full picture. Many of our LGBTQ+ clients come in carrying both mental health struggles and substance use patterns that developed as a way to cope. Our dual diagnosis approach means we look at both at the same time, not one after the other. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or something harder to name, we have a structure that fits where you are right now.
